Are you coming to the Berden Spring Run by car? You can use the Fontys parking lot. The entrance is on the Tegelseweg opposite the hospital. The parking lot is open from 9:00 to 17:00, so you can park easily and nearby.
Traveling from Eindhoven or Venray? Follow the A73 towards Roermond and take exit 16 Venlo-South. Turn left at the bottom of the exit towards Venlo (N271). The parking lot is located on the right side.
Are you coming from Roermond or Maastricht? Take the A73 towards Venray and use exit 16 Venlo-Zuid. Turn left at the bottom of the exit and the parking lot is on the right.
At College Den Hulster, under the sports hall, you will find a spacious bicycle parking area. This is accessible via Waterhoenstraat and provides direct access to the changing facilities and clothing collection. Follow the signage for the covered parking, as other entrances are closed. We recommend participants to come by bicycle as much as possible to avoid traffic congestion and road closures.
College Den Hulster is easily accessible by public transport. From Venlo station, several bus lines run towards VieCuri, near the event site. Be aware of possible diversions or adjusted travel times during the event. Check the most current travel information in advance via your favorite app or service.
The Berden Spring Run starts and finishes at the grounds of College Den Hulster, at Hagerhofweg 15 in Venlo. This practical location offers all necessary facilities, such as changing rooms and parking, to ensure your running day goes smoothly.
The award ceremonies for the best participants in each category take place in the large indoor area of College Den Hulster. Note: prizes will not be sent by mail and you must be present to receive your prize. All participants who reach the finish will receive a commemorative medal as a lasting appreciation for their achievement.
The Berden Spring Run uses electronic timing and arrival measurement, provided by Running Promotion Gelderland with the IPICO Sports timing registration system. Each participant receives a chip transponder, which is given at the collection of the start number and is attached to the shoe with a tie wrap. Both gross and net times are recorded, with the gross time being used for classification. No new chip transponder will be provided in case of loss.
The chip transponder is rented and must be returned immediately after finishing. Even if you are unable to participate or do not complete the run, we ask you to return the chip to avoid extra costs. During registration, you authorized the organization to charge €7.50 if the chip is not returned. You can return the chip at the finish or via the options below:
The organization of the Berden Spring Run and Running Promotion Gelderland strive for 100% accurate timing and arrival registration. However, it may occur that a chip does not work correctly. To address this, video recordings of the finish are made. Ensure that your start number is always clearly visible so that we can register an accurate time based on the footage.
In the cafeteria of College Den Hulster, you can find a wide range of drinks and snacks available at friendly prices. Whether you want something to drink after your effort or just want to relax with a snack, everything is within reach. Note: it is not allowed to take glass drinks outside.
The changing rooms are accessible via the central entrance of College Den Hulster at Waterhoenstraat. Only participants with a valid start number have access to this guarded area, where you can safely leave your belongings. Follow the signage for a smooth flow.
Toilets are available at College Den Hulster, so you can comfortably prepare for your start. The facilities are more than sufficient to serve both participants and visitors during the event.

Pre-registration closes on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 10:00 PM. From Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, late registration opens, which will be available until Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Note: higher rates apply during late registration, so register on time to participate at a lower cost!
Do you want to adjust your registration? Changing your distance (4 km, 7.5 km, or 15 km) is possible by sending an email to wedstrijdsecretariaat@berdenvoorjaarsloop.nl with your name, date of birth, and the desired adjustment. Make sure changes are communicated before March 2, 2025. Note: already paid registration fees will not be refunded.
After the registration closes, each participant will be assigned a start number. These start numbers will not be sent by post and can only be collected on the specified dates and locations. Due to the expected crowds on race day, we recommend picking up your start number earlier. This way, you can avoid long waiting times and start your run relaxed.
